Introduction of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery
The Department of Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery is a national key discipline and provincial key discipline. Nasal endoscopic surgery, a technique developed during the 90s, has been used for treating diseases of otorhinolaryngology, especially the most common disease-chronic rhinosinusitis. The department provides professional training courses of endoscopic surgery for decades. The department has top ranking expert treatments, medical education and research. The department is one of the key clinical specialties in Guangdong Province, offering master’s and doctoral programs in Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
Our professional team has 65 staff, including doctors, technicians, researchers and nurses. The department has two outpatient clinic and three inpatient ward areas of 96 ward beds. It treats more than 1000 patients annually and has successfully performed over 20000 nasal endoscopic surgeries with very high cure rate.
