She has engaged in the field of infection diseases in the past 20 years. Her early work focuses on vaccination of hepatitis B. She specializes in treatment of hepatitis B & C, where she gains sufficient experiences in treating the serve hepatitis. She receives research grant from the Nature Science Fund of the Science Technology Government Agency of Guangdong Province and China. One of her research studying the prevention and cure of major infectious diseases, including AIDS and hepatitis, received grant from the “Eleven-Five” Special Technology Topic of China.
She conducted numerous clinical trials to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of new drugs for the management of patients with hepatitis. Her current study involves the topic of maternal-to-fetal transmission (MTFT) of hepatitis B virus (HBV).
