His early work focus on the gene-modified adipose derive stem cells therapy for erectile dysfunction. Dr. Chen has been involved in the new treatment of ED which is a vacuum erection device applied to the diabetic patients with erectile dysfunction for a long time. His other interests include high throughput screening of key indicators of endothelial function and its role in early warning of ED.
