Early work focused on combined modality therapy for gastrointestinal tumor, especially the surgical procedures. Then involved in the field of minimally invasive surgical technology for Gastrointestinal cancer. Also expert in the diagnosis and treatment of benign gastrointestinal diseases, hemorrhoid, hernia and vascular diseases, and so on. In the directions of preclinical medicine research, he has gone in for the research field of colorectal cancer stem cell for the past few years, and been supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China in 2010 and 2014.
