Dr. Dong has been involved in the field of spine surgery & orthopeadic for the past 22 years. He has full experiences of clinical diagnosis and therapy in spinal degenerative disease, spinal cord injury, spinal tuberculosis, spinal deformities, osteoporosis, etc. he’s good at various minimally invasive spine surgery (MISS) including percutaneous transforaminal endoscopic lumbar discectomy (PELD), microendoscopic discectomy (MED), interbody fusion assisted with endoscopy or tubular retractor, percutaneous pedicle screw fixation, percutaneous vertebroplasty (PVP) and percutaneous kyphoplasy (PKP). He’s also proficient in master correction of scoliosis and kyphosis, as well as chemotherapy, resection and reconstruction for tumor of spine and pelvis. He especially focuses on spinal biomechanical study and clinical research.
