His early work focused on general thoracic surgery and minimally Invasive techniques for the diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary diseases. He has since been involved in the field of thoracoscopy and thoracic malignancy cardiac surgery for the past 15 years. He has had continuous support from science and technology department of Guangdong province for the molecular targeted therapy for lung cancer.
