Jiesheng Qian

Dr. Jiesheng Qian is a consultant radiologist and vascular surgeon at the Third Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University.

Research Interest 

Dr. Jiesheng Qian has a special interest in minimally invasive procedures and interventional radiological procedures for treatment of aortic aneurysm, aortic dissection, peripheral arterial diseases (PAD), diabetic foot, deep vein thrombosis, and varicose vein of lower limb. He is also interested in the study of interventional radiological treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma, hepatic hemangioma, and obstructive jaundice

Education and Experience

Dr. Jiesheng Qian studied at Wannan Medical College and graduated with an MBBS in 1993. He was then trained in surgery at Jinghu Hospital of the City of Wuhu. He obtained an MSc in surgery at Anhui Medical University in 2000 and went to work at Jiangsu Taizhou People’s Hospital until 2002. He completed a PhD+MD in Surgery at the Sun Yat-sen University in 2005. He has since been working at the Department of Vascular Interventional Radiology of the Third Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University.
