Research Interests
Dr Peng works on cardiovascular clinic and scientific research for 30 years. He is good at the diagnosis and treatment for Coronary heart disease, angina, myocardial infarction, hypertension, myocarditis, myocardiopathy, rheumatic fever, rheumatic heart disease, arrhythmia, shock and heart failure. Dr Peng is specialized in intervention treatment for Cardiovascular disease, such as: Percutaneous Coronary Inter
Vention(PCI).Temporary and permanent artificial heart pacemaker implantation, Percutaneous Balloon Mitral Valvuloplasty (PBMV) and so on. In scientific research, Dr Peng who has who has trained up more than ten master postgraduates, has engaged in the study of the relationship of inflammatory factors and coronary heart disease for many years. In recent years he works in the experimental research of stem cell transplantation in treatment of acute myocardial infarction.

Award scientific foundations from the State Nature, the science and technology department of Guangdong province, the science and information department of Guangzhou city, the university and the college. Adwards second and third Prize from The ministry of health, the science commission of Guangdong province, the health department, the scientific and technological achievements and medical achievements of Sun yat-sen University.
